About Us & General Information
Located on Main Street in Wilmore, we worship at 11am every Sunday. Our worship is more traditional with scripture readings, corporate prayers, hymns, and sermons that follow the seasons of the church year.
There is a nursery available every Sunday during worship and Children’s Church for elementary aged kids on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month.
There is Sunday School every Sunday at 9:30am for adults. Please contact our children’s pastor about the calendar for Children’s Sunday School.

Where are you located?
Our address is 201 East Main Street, Wilmore, KY 40390. We share our building with GCF Vineyard, but our entrance is marked by banners and sign on the sidewalk.
Is there online worship?
Yes. Our service is streamed on our Facebook Page and Youtube every week.
What should I wear?
You are welcome to dress however you please! We have some folks who wear “Sunday attire” and we have some folks in shorts, ballcaps, and sandals.
What do you believe?
We are a United Methodist Church whose theology is rooted in the Wesleyan tradition. We believe God longs to be in relationship with all people and that God’s grace is constantly at work drawing people back to God, whether we are aware of it or not.
We believe worship to be a time for the community to gather and celebrate who God is and what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are at the center of who we are as a church. We believe the Holy Spirit is at work in and through every person so that we can continue Jesus’ ministry in the here and now.
We believe everyone is welcome. On the first and third Sunday of the month, we celebrate Holy Communion, also called the Eucharist. It is at the Lord’s invitation that we come to his table to receive the bread and juice. We believe God uses these elements as a means of showering us with his grace.

Pastoral Transition
Rev. Jae Yoon has been appointed to serve as our pastor beginning in July 12. Our previous pastor, Rev. Dr. D. Merricks, is now serving as East Region District Superintendent. Please be in prayer for both Rev. Yoon, Pastor D., and our church during this time of transition. If you have questions, please let us know.
How to Give
We are so thankful to all those who give the ministry of Wilmore UMC. On Sunday morning, you are welcome to bring an offering and place in the offering plate by the doors as you come in.
